Hi Marshall, I also just finished at AACC and I suspect we probably had some of the same history teachers. Having gone to college the first time before the internet, I am astounded at the variety of resources there are available now and what kinds of research can be done within those resources. Truthful and accurate information on the internet is a concern and although there are tools to learn to how to distinguish the good from the bad, I far too often see that people don’t take the time to check. Sensational disinformation is far more interesting and exciting than boring truthful information. There are definitely advantages and disadvantages to using digital technology, but I hope that work continues to make it a better tool.
